Looked at the PlasmaCam, but for the price, I feel the Bulltear table is a much better design. Bought it last year on the recommendation of a fellow AgTalker. I have a 4x8 Star-Lab table from Bulltear. Here is a big machine tool show that goes on once a year in Chicago it would be worth going to because you could talk to all the different manufacturers. The software for plasma cam was easy to learn. There are a couple good forums all about tables that could give you more info on what brand is best.
I have a plasma cam really like it, has been trouble free so far have cut upto 3/4" with it. Optical machines that I want but will never have space for have been at "get it out of here" prices. Kioke Aronson has a track design that not everyone likes in a factory setting. Used first generation of HD industrial machines are cheap as cutters look to upgrade quality. We wound up with a Torchmate from Lincoln and it is and has been a treat to work with. Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, no support from the distributor in Michigan and TOTAL junk components.
